Hi, I'm Stormrage: a hardcore artist, DJ, and producer with a long-running habit of turning noise, melody, and questionable life choices into tracks. This route traces the early rave spark, tracker-era production, stage years, and Cenobite releases that shaped the sound.

Hi, I’m Stormrage!
My journey into hardcore music began when I was just 6 or 7 years old. Even at that young age, the raw energy and unconventional spirit of the genre captivated me instantly. Rave and hardcore initially went hand in hand, but over time, hardcore became my true passion.

Tracker Era
Around 2000, I began producing with FastTracker 2 and ModPlug Tracker. The millennium hardcore wave of 2000–2010 had a huge influence on my sound.
By 2004, I was drawn beyond intensity to hardcore's musical potential — infusing tracks with inspiration from trance, breakbeat, metal, and classical while keeping things raw and powerful.

Textures
My influences include happy hardcore, rave, trance, breakbeat, drum’n’bass, EDM, rock, punk, metal, film scores, classical music, and piano compositions.
In 2006, I stepped into the role of DJ, believing that making music is just one side of the coin; the other is bringing it to life for the audience.
My first big break came in mid-2006, when I was invited to play at the “Giants” party in Austria, alongside legends like Chosen Few, The Speedfreak, and Angerfist. This opened the door to more gigs across Austria and later the Czech Republic.

Interstellar Route
In 2010, I teamed up with Visual Angel to form the live act project Hardcore Stalkers, debuting at Bassdome Outdoor (CZ) and Devastator (HU). That same year marked a milestone in my discography, with two major releases: a remix on DJ Delirium & Tellurian - Ain’t No Stoppin’ This (Cenobite Records), and two solo tracks on Volume 1 EP (K.N.O.R. Records).
In 2011, I moved to the Netherlands for engineering university while continuing to explore new musical directions. That year brought the release of Freedom's Progress on Cenobite Records — a project that reflected my evolving style. I still perform today, and music holds a special place in my heart.

Audio Plugin Development
Under the Awesonix label, I design and code audio plugins for CLAP, VST3, AU, and AAX hosts across Windows, macOS, and Linux. It is the same discipline as music production: remove clutter, keep the signal honest, and build tools that solve real workflow problems.
